Foundations Supporting Clean & Sober
Clean & Sober is proud to announce receipt of a $10,000 grant from the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation. Over the past decade, the Yocha Dehe Community Fund has provided more than $18 million in financial support to nonprofit organizations and service providers in Sacramento and Yolo Counties, and other organizations supporting the Fund’s goals in education, community health, arts and culture, the environment, community development and social services.
The Yocha Dehe Community Fund was one of the first to be established by a Native American tribe in California and is a recognized leader in local charitable giving. To learn more about the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation please visit www.yochadehe.org
January 20, 2012 – Manny Dias, the Founder and Program Director of Clean & Sober, was presented with a generous donation of $7,310.00 from long-time supporter Mr. Fred Teichert, CEO of the Teichert Foundation. These funds will be used to subsidize the housing of indigent individuals seeking recovery from substance abuse. The Teichert Foundation supports numerous local charities and Clean & Sober is grateful for their continued support of our program.
The SureWest Foundation has been a long-time financial supporter of Clean & Sober. They recently sponsored a "Friends of Clean & Sober" Annual Benefit table for $1,200 and they have graciously donated the tickets back to the agency to be offered to those that might not have otherwise been able to attend. A nice gesture from a great foundation!
